SUCCESSFUL FAILINGI have a new book coming out called The Secrets of Successful Failing. It's a paradoxical title because I really believe that everything that happens is meant to teach us, even our failures. Some people get confused and think that I mean that I believe that you should be able to turn any failure into a success. But that is not my point. My point is that even the most devastating things that happen to you do so because they are capable of teaching you something. It's really about trusting that everything that happens does so in support of your growth. Even if that event is unpleasant or feels awful. There is something of value in it. Can you see it? Have you ever looked for it that way? Try it for yourself and see if a new perspective gives you any freedom. It has worked for me.
