EASE Ease is the Universe's way of communicating that you are "on track". Ease is the way by which you can check in with your intuition or higher self to understand if you are being and doing things which are congruent to your intention. When you are "on track" then life flows effortlessly and easily.
I was compelled to write about ease today while taking a shower. I hopped out, dried off and started writing. However, while I was writing I noticed that the words were not easy and finding the "perfect word" was difficult. I vaguely noticed this and continued moving along (like a bull in a china shop). You shouldn't be suprised to notice that I lost my work at the spell checker stage. This usually would have upset me but I understood it to be a more compelling signal that what I had written was not right for me. If I had paid attention to the initial feeling of difficulty that would have saved me some time.
I find it interesting to note that the word "disease" is actually "dis-ease". I invite you to consider that the diseases that you have manifested are specific feedback from your higher self of exactly where you are "off track" on your course. Pay attention to when life is easy and when life is difficult. These are the whispers from the Universe, the gentle nudges that communicate which path to take.
THE LAW OF ATTRACTION IN ACTION Do you ever notice that when you are thinking of something that it starts to appear everywhere? The Law of Attraction states that you get what you attract or, in other words, like attracts like. When you put your focus on something, whether it be positive or negative, you have set the wheels in motion for the Universe to deliver it to you. Lately, I have been studying and researching the Law of Attraction for my new book. I really want to dig deep and understand what is being written on the subject. All of a sudden, every person that I meet has some information pertinent to this subject. It's as though they have fallen from the sky. I'm not sure where they were hiding prior to this research of mine but apparently they are here now so I am taking advantage of the ease in which I can gather the information. That's the Law of Attraction in action.
PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT GETS YOUR ATTENTION What exactly does this mean? Doesn't everyone pay attention to what gets their attention? Not necessarily. The way I see it is that each person is having their own personal experience of the universe perfectly tailored to their life. This means that each thing that comes into your radar screen does so for a reason so you should take note. Yesterday, I was shopping in Orlando because I had some free time before my conference. While I was waiting to take the trolley back to my hotel, I noticed a woman sitting on the bench. I gave her a nod and a polite "hello". But, of all the people sitting on that bench, I felt a tug or a nudge from inside. So, by "paying attention to what got MY attention" I walked over to her and started talking. We had a lot in common. She gave me a gift - a piece of information that was very valuable to my book project, How to NOT Get What You Want. She recommended a book that holds some key information that I have been searching for and that I had intended to find on this trip.
Coincidence? No way! I created the intention to find that information and the universe put the opportunity right in front of my face. Paying attention to what got my attention is how I finally noticed the "giant billboard" (the woman with the information) that was right in front of me. I can't think of how many times I have ingnored that "inner nudge" and not followed through on my instinct.
It happened to me earlier this week as well. I was playing soccer on Tuesday night. While we were driving in to the parking lot I stated that my intention was to score a goal (this is a BIG deal because I don't score many goals - I am more of a "team player"). Lo and behold about halfway into the game, the perfect setup right to my feet and BANG! I had my goal. I was having fun with this so I intended another goal but this time I wanted a "header goal". Towards the end of the game we were scambling down at their end. I was playing left wing. The right winger had the ball deep in the zone but still within shooting distance. He rocketed a big shot that looked to be squeezing into the left corner of the net. But it slightly grazed the top of the post and swung back out. I WASN'T READY and I was standing right there. The ball came out at "head height" but my mind had already decided that there was "no way" that this was "the" opportunity so I wasn't ready for it. I assumed that I knew what was going to happen before it did so I gave up before it was over. I had noticed that he wasn't really in a good shooting positiob and I had noticed that I was all alone at the left goal post but I didn't pay enough attention to these details and I missed it. The opportunity didn't present itself like that again. Lesson learned!
